Product Designer – Design System (EMEA)

We are looking for an experienced Product Designer to join our Design System team. You’ll be involved in building the design elements that contribute to a unified user experience across all our products. We’re looking for someone with a strong foundation in product design and interaction patterns for responsive web. While we’re not responsive yet, we’re looking for you to help us push our Design System towards that direction. Reporting into our Principal Product Designer, this is an excellent remote career opportunity within Hotjar’s P&E department, playing a part in delivering the next wins for Hotjar.
Our Design System has been an ongoing internal effort for the last year and we’re looking for someone to help take charge of its next evolution. You should love collaborating with others as you’ll work with a team of 12+ designers on a day to day basis to apply our Design Language to Hotjar’s products and guiding the designers to the next level of craftmanship. This includes managing things like our Figma libraries, Documentation & Best Practices, as well as Accessibility guidelines.

Compensation Range:
The compensation range for this role is €55,000 to €75,000 annually. This was established after performing market research and is aligned with our approach to compensation.
