We’re looking for a well-rounded Product Designer to join our team and help us build great products for the future. The ideal candidate is excited to be on the founding design team of a well-funded startup using NFTs to economically empower creators, artists, community-builders, and brands. You love building beautiful, intuitive products that people love to use, and are comfortable balancing people problems, business goals, and technological constraints.

Responsibilities

• Owning end-to-end flows that map directly to people problems using UX best practices and Highlight’s design system
• Helping creators design thoughtful, on-brand themes for their communities
• Contributing new components and patterns to our design system
• Thoroughly understanding and contributing to our product roadmap
• Participating in design critiques and product strategy meetings

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience building consumer-facing digital products
• Experience building for various device sizes and platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Thorough understanding of industry best practices regarding interaction design patterns and accessibility standards
• Strong visual design skills including thoughtful use of hierarchy, color, typography, etc.
• Proven ability to break down complex problems and solve them with intuitive design decisions
• Familiarity with UX research fundamentals
• Basic familiarity with modern web technologies including React is a plus
• Familiarity with modern design tools and willingness to learn new ones
