Description:

We are seeking multiple MBSE Engineers to support our Digital Engineering Center of Excellence in support of a Army Land Vehicle program which is playing a major role in strengthening and modernizing America's Strategic Force.

These engineers will develop and deliver a digital engineering design solution, which enables and integrates the program's complete set of data, tools, and model-based systems engineering (MBSE) activities, and makes them available to internal external engineering and programmatic stakeholders throughout the program's lifecycle. The efforts of this team will play a critical piece during the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of product development.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing analysis of system operations
  • Perform system decomposition via OMG frameworks (UML, DoDAF 2.0/UPDM, SysML, UAF)
  • Model systems via different perspectives (e.g. capability, operational, system, functional) and at various levels of abstraction using UML modeling tools (NoMagic preferred) - MAIN RESPONSIBILITY
  • Meet with stakeholders in a variety of system domains and analyze requirement, process, system, and/or capability
  • Extending UML-based models to other tools or modeling environments via existing frameworks/API's
  • Other duties and responsibilities as required and assigned

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • Must have Model User experience
  • Must have experience with system decomposition (UML, DoDAF 2.0/UPDM, SysML, UAF)
  • Must be capable of performing analysis of system operations (Matlab, Eclipse, Ansys)
  • Must be able to model systems via different perspectives (e.g. capability, operational, system, functional) and at various levels of abstraction
  • Must be experienced with modeling tools (SysML, UML, Cameo/MagicDraw preferred)
  • Must be capable of extending UML-based models to other tools or modeling environments via existing frameworks/API's
  • Must be willing to script/program in Python or Bash
  • Eligible and willing to obtain/maintain a Top Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience using mathematical analysis tools like Matlab or Ansys (high preference)
  • OCSMP Model User experience, certification preferred
  • Experience modeling complex systems for government organizations
  • Experience using configuration management/version control tools such as Git
  • Experience developing applications using object-oriented programming languages
