Position: Interaction Designer (Remote)

Rate: $48/hr. - $60/hr. (DOE)

The Bay Area's best-known search engine giant is seeking a Interaction Designer to assist their team.

This role can be done fully remote.

Top Responsibilities for Interaction Designer:

• Partner with researchers, designers, and engineers to directly support the tactical user interaction design needs of the Teams assistive technology features.
• Integrate inclusive design best practices into your solutions and iterations.
• Work with engineering deliver design specs and production ready assets and provide solutions to edge cases that may arise.
• Advocate for design centered changes, refinements, and improvements to solve user needs.

Ideal Qualifications for Interaction Designer:

• Bachelor's degree in Design or HCI, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with UX design principles, accessibility guidelines and inclusive design.
• Familiarity creating production ready design documentation.
• Familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing for multiple platforms and surfaces.
• Knowledge of design systems and their contemporary trends and usage.
• Portfolio that demonstrates experiences crafting usable digital interfaces.
